Crazy weekend!!!

For me it all started on Thursday when I went by mom's to say hi. She was supposed to go to Las Vegas that day but decided to go Friday. She wanted me to go with her to drive together. I wasn't sure I could get the time off but I asked anyway and was very surprised when I was told it would be fine to take half of Friday off.
Mom and I drove down and had a good time. We did get a little lost due to some mapquest bogus directions luckly I have some connections in Vegas and was guided in the right direction. From there mom and I went to St George to stay the night at their condo.

I'm so glad I went to support Sarah in her graduation. She's very talented at what she does (as are all my awesome sisters and sister-in-law)

When Sarah walked by with her new and Hot hair color mom and dad both didn't recognize her. Only I did. It was pretty funny. I love the color though and I think you should keep it Sarah!

Saturday Mom and I drove with Sarah, Damon and Carson up to Provo. It was a very quick drive. We made it in about 31/2 hours. Not bad. We made it in time to hang out with Lindsey for a bit then we went to dinner at Bombay House to celebrate Arlin's B-day!!! I loved it. It was so great to see everyone.

Crazy weekend!!!

Saturday night after a lot of fun times at Lindsey's house I stayed over at Erin's. It's always fun to wake up to little voices saying "Good morning Auntie Jenny." I love it. Even though it started at 9 I went to church with Erin, Maddie and Laure. Mike and Ethan stayed home sick. Poor fellas. Church was great and there was even cake so who can complain?!?

After we went for a ride/walk up a canyon I don't remember the name but it was beautiful to see the colorful leaves.

I love my sisters!! I was telling mom on the drive over how lucky I am that I get along with my siblings. I love you all so much.

Tara tagged me and I guess I'm supposed to write 7 things about myself. To some it may be easy but sitting here alone in my apt trying to think of 7 uniqe things is difficult so here it goes.

1. I love scary books and scary movies. I've read almost 30 books this year and most are by Stephen King. Mostly due to the fact that the family I work for has a large library of his work.
I also love scary movies but it's really no fun watching them by yourself a pillow can't hold you back.

2. I love vampires. The twilight series was good and I've also read a lot of Ann Rice but there's just something about this villan that I love. I've even tried to write a story myself of a kick ass female vampire, it's still in the works.

3. I hide chocolate in my night stand. Ya I'm sure my sisters are laughing becasue I used to hide my candy from them because they'd always steal my stuff. So I still hide it, old habbits die hard.

4. My eyes, the color is pretty unique and I do get a lot of compliments on them but what I was going to share is they water all the time, it's like I'm crying but I'm not. Mostly when it's cold or when I'm scared it drives me crazy.

5. I have a huge DVD collection over 200. I have a membership with Columbia House and they love me plus I go to target or wal-mart and get good deals.

6. I also have a big collection of purses. I love them. I expecially love it when Bath & Body Works or Victoria's Secret sells a purse full of lotion. 2 for one who can pass that deal?

7. Ugghhh I seriously can't think of anything else so I'll let you do it. Post a comment and let me know what's unique about me.

Cookin with Mom

Sunday was conference and although I tried to stay awake I fell asleep for most of it. Oops looks like I'll be reading them next month.
So I invited myself to dinner at Vivians and thought I'd help mom out in the kitchen. Actually mom didn't give me much choice in the matter I was put to work doing all the chopping.
It was actually a lot of fun. We chopped and chatted and talked about what to do with the potatoes ect ect...It's moments like that that made me realize that I love to cook and really have a passion for making good food and making people happy. Following my dreams can be scary and I feel like I'm in the dark a lot but I really want to share my passion and do it with children. I've decided to start a cooking class for kids. It's hard work and I'm no where finished but it's something I want to try. I cook with Dahra(8) and she loves it. I teach her how to chop and how to make things look pretty on a plate. We have a lot of fun.
I got a cool gift from my roommate Danielle. It's a silver ring that's inscribed with the words When you have faith...anything is possible. I believe that to be true.
I love you all and thanks for all your love and support. How lucky am I to come from such a rockin family!!

30!!!

Ok so my big day has come and gone and I must say it was awesome. Thanks to ya'll for your sweet birthday wishes. It started out with Danielle surprising me with roses on our kitchen table. How lucky am I to get flowers for by b-day?!? Then it was a full day of work but I was in a great mood so it was good. I got a lot of calls and test messages from everyone and thank you!!! Then I got to go to a kind of mock rock show. There's a place in Pacific Beach and they have a show on Wednesday nights with this heavy metal rock band, but they make fun of it too. They have wigs and leather pants and everything. It was so funny!!! They played some good cover songs too.
Tonight the birthday celebration continues with dinner with Danielle, Mom and Ron. Since mom's b-day is tomorrow we decided to celebrate it tonight. Should be fun.
