Christmas this year for me...

Christmas this year has been a lonely one for me. I thought I'd be ok with not going home for Christmas but it was hard. It was good though to have mom around. We got to spend some quality time together (mostly baking and eating). Mom has been fun to hang out with. I was also house sitting for all this week and am glad to be back in my little apt.
We had Christmas Eve at Vivian's house and had an amazing dinner. Then we opened a few gifts.

Ron got a space ship robe. I could not stop laughing so I put the camera in front of my face so no one would notice. I don't know why I thought it was so funny.

Top Gun

So I know ya'll have seen Top Gun. Tom Cruise before his crazy days, awesome uniforms ;) and all that. In the movie they talk about going to Mira Mar which is right by where I live. It has become a daily occurance to see jets flying and it's awesome to see. Today as I was driving home for a quick errand there was a lot of unexpected traffic and the radio announced that a jet crashed into a house and incinerated it!!! A few surrounding houses were also burned and that is literaly BLOCKS away from me. Crazh eh? Just another day here in sunny SoCal.

Thankful For

I am thankful for great road trips (even if they are by myself)
I got back yesterday from a great trip to Amy's. It was so nice to get away and relax. I am thankful for Amy, Matt, Bradley (by the way he still calls us aunties) Gevrey and Evan.
I am not thankful that when I got there and fired up my camera the battery died and I forgot the charger!!! I am thankful that Adri took some awesome pictures and will be posting them soon so I can steal them from her.
I am very thankful for my awesome family!!! My awesome BFF and roommate Danielle.
