I'm Home

So I got back on Wednesday night, late. My flight was delayed by an hour. I was so tired and got a cold. I hate being sick.
Utah was so much fun. Sarah is here so I'm spending time with her and the boys so I haven't had time to update my blog with pics yet. I had such a lovely visit with everyone. Erin and Mike's house was fun to play with Madi, Lauren and little Ethen. I went to church with them and they were doing their Christmas Program so Madi and Lauren sang a cute song and did so well. My favorite part was Lauren's singing the Hippo song to us.
Then we had the big party at Becky's and that was fun. Adri won the ugly sweater contest by a landslide in my opinion but Rick's was a close second.
Lindsey and Wes were our next host and had great food, great games and great times. The best part of Christmas is watching little kids get so excited for Santa. Christian was so cute and Darby is so beautiful.
We went to Becky's next and spent the day and Becky put extensions on my eye lashes. They look amazing.
I love you all and thanks again to my amazing sisters for the late night talks and support.

So I know I was only 5 but I do remember when baby Becky was brought home in a red stocking. I love you sweetie!!
Another one would be when we were little we'd act out the nativity and put towels on our heads as shepards and we always had a baby Jesus.

I love the old school claymation of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and Charlie Brown Christmas

What do you want for Christmas?
A new stereo for my car since mine got stolen and I have to sit in my car in silence. It's driving me mad, I have to sing to myself.

Christmas time

Don't we look HOT

I had a few Christmas parties I've been to in the last few weeks that were a lot of fun.
One was a church service auction. You volunteer an act of service and you can bid one the ones you like. I volunteered a fancy dinner(What else?). And I got all the things I bid on which were

Ju Jitsu lessons, Massage and Rock Climbing lessons. I'm stoked and it all went to the fire relief so I feel good about donating.

I love getting all dressed up so I took some fun pics of me and Danielle.

Deck the Halls

Danielle and I decorated our house last night and it totally got me into the Christmas spirit.

We got creative and made our own tree and also our own fireplace. We also got a rosemary plant that looks like a tree and decorated it with little ornaments. It looks great.

I am very excited for Christmas. What a wonderful time of year.

It's doesn't look a lot like Christmas

So It's always been a challenge for me since I've moved here to actually believe that it's December. It has been chilly lately and raining but it still feels like October or something. That's when I go into panic mode and realize that I have to buy gifts and buy my ticket home and decorate the house etc...
I am coming home to good old Utah this year and can't wait to see the new babies.

I do have exciting news...I just got called to be a temple worker. WOW me?!? Yup I know, I was in shock but I start in January and I know it'll be such a cool experience and such a blessing in my life. I feel it's important to work on my spirit right now and this is a great way to start.
