Sunday I picked up Adri from the airport and we went back to mom and Ron's. Since we all got up pretty early we had lunch and naps :)
then we hung out for a bit and went on a walk at Swammie's beach. It was overcast but still beautiful. We were trying to see the tide pools but the tide was coming in. Adri and I were brave and went out on some rocks but I lost one of my flip-flops and the rocks were pretty sharp. It was funny though. The girls were hoping to see more wildlife in the pools but maybe next time. Later after dinner and mom's homemade peach pie (yum) we played rummy and wouldn't you know...I WON!!!! We played til super late but were laughing the whole time.

Fun in Cali

This last week has been great. Erin came out with Madelyn and Lauren on Wednesday. All we've been doing since is going to the beach and swimming in the pool. Friday was fun because we went on a ferrie ride to Coronado and spent some time looking at the shops, eating lunch, and watching the many sail boats. Saturday we spent the day at the beach and then went back to go swimming in grandma's pool. I'm having a blast hanging out with the girls they have so much energy I can hardly keep up.
Today is Sunday and I'm going to pick up Adri from the airport and she's staying until Thursday. Becky is also planning on coming out too. It's going to be a blast.

4th of July celebration

Although I had a busy week of unpacking that didn't stop me from enjoying my 4th. I went with some friends to breakfast at the Pakcake house. Later in the afternoon I went to a friends house for a BBQ. I got to meet some cool people and also play on the wii. It was so much fun. Since I'm the type of person that moves the controller whenever I play video games anyway a wii is just for me. We played boxing and I got a workout :)
Then we went downtown to watch the fireworks. It was a lot of fun eventhough I got home way late.

I love being active in my singles ward. There are always so manythings going on to get into.

Settling in

So Danielle and I are officially moved in. I'll have to get ya'll our address. It's so cute but a bit smaller than we remember. We've got such big plans for it and can't wait. Our living room is still stuffed with boxes though but soon we'll have a house warming party. :)
I get my own bathroom attached to my room!! It's so exciting. I love our new place and I'm going to a new singles ward too. I've already tried it out and it seems awesome.

Sooooo Much

Hi everyone I'm back to the world of blogging. After a long time with out the internet we finally got ours hooked up. A lot has been going on and I was totally stressed out about moving but we're slowly getting ourselves settled.
First things first... Adri's graduation was awesome!!! She looked great and did such an amazing job on her portfolio. Her friends greeted us and helped us find where she was and that was an adventure in and of itself. It was great to see Nicki, Erin, Lindsey and Dad to support Adri.

It was a beautiful windy day in San Francisco. The city was great, I'd love to go back and explore it more another time. Erin and Lindsey looked so cute with their baby bumps. It was a great time.
