Ashes to ashes

So since Sunday San Diego has been on fire. At one time during this week there were 8 different fires. Sunday I had to go to Del Mar which is where I used to live and help the family I work for and the smoke from one fire was like fog in the morning. It was hurting my lungs to breathe outside.
Monday I went to work and the wind was so strong it brought down many trees, the wind was making the fire very dangerous so the family had to evacuate. I went back home and Danielle was there and since we don't have cable we just listened to the radio getting updates. Mom and Ron had to leave on Monday as well. It was kinda scary so Danielle and I decided to pack and be prepared just in case but for the most part we were safe.
On Monday night Danielle and I went to Wal-Mart to buy water and dry food and supplies. While we were there we got bottled water and also go blankets and donated them to our nearest evacuation center. We also got stuff for hygiene kits on Tuesday and donated that too.
Today is Friday and the sky is getting clear but there's ash everywhere and you have to be careful not to breathe that stuff in.
It's been a stressful week but I just want to say how AWESOME San Diego is.
A lot of people were volunteering and helping out by donating to the families that were in need.
I'm glad this week is over and now I'm going to get some rest!!
Zzzzzzzz
